These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Frezone Projects (Pty) Ltd's website and professional built environment services, in compliance with South African law. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, please discontinue use immediately.

Services

We provide end-to-end built environment solutions, including:

Town planning (SACPLAN-certified)
Architectural design (SACAP-registered)
Engineering & construction (ECSA-compliant)
MEP systems & interior/exterior design

Project scope, fees, and timelines are detailed in written service agreements.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure project success, clients must:

Provide accurate site information, zoning details, and municipal requirements.
Approve designs/submissions within agreed timeframes to avoid delays.
Make payments as per contract schedules.
Grant site access to our team and approved partners.

Payments & Fees

Fees are outlined in proposals/contracts and may include:
- Professional service fees (aligned with SA industry standards).
- Council submission costs (e.g., SACAP/SACPLAN application fees).
A 30–50% deposit is typically required to commence work.
Late payments incur 15% annual interest (as permitted by the National Credit Act).

Intellectual Property

All designs, technical drawings, and reports remain our property until full payment is received.
Clients receive a license to use deliverables for their project only.
Unauthorized distribution, resale, or modification of designs is prohibited.

Cancellations & Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable if work has begun (e.g., site assessments or draft plans).
Cancellation fees apply based on project stage (see service agreement).

Liability & Warranty

We adhere to SANS 10400 building regulations and council requirements.
Not liable for:
- Delays caused by municipal approvals or third-party contractors.
- Defects in materials supplied by client-selected vendors.
Warranties cover workmanship only (12 months post-completion).

Third-Party Contractors

We may recommend SACPCMP-registered contractors or engineers.
Client contracts with third parties directly. We are not liable for their work.

Website Use

Unauthorized use of our branding, project images, or technical content is prohibited.
Website content is for informational purposes only—not professional advice.

Privacy & Data Protection

Your data is protected under our Privacy Policy, aligned with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Dispute Resolution

Disputes will first be negotiated in good faith.
Unresolved issues may be mediated in Johannesburg under SA law.

Updates to Terms

Frezone Projects Pty Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of services implies acceptance.
